Graduation show - Desire Paths
The work presented in the graduation show of the Maastricht Institute of Arts (2022) was constructed as a collaborative project with Lizzie Veldkamp. Our installation ''Desire Paths'' consisted mostly of objects and interventions created in collaboration as well as work from our private studio.
Discovering overlapping interests and balancing our individual workmethods while creating the work resulted in the creation of a variety of new work which as a result had a direct relation amongst eachother and the space in which the installation was presented. In this presentation we disregarded the concept of private ownership and all the individual works were to be regarded as one installation consisting of multiple building blocks.
