Under an Artificial Sun

Functional installation constructed by stacking and carving blocks of aerated concrete, secured with tension straps to a standard-size wood pallet.

Presented alongside a small library, the piece supported previously made ceramic planters containing live thistles growing over the course of the exhibition with the help of an UV-light.

The installation is a further adaptation of a previous project, VASES ARE ELITIST, TEAWARE IS BOURGEOIS.
